I know that when you start looking for a Hypnotherapist, it can be quite confusing and rather overwhelming, but it’s important that you find the right therapist for YOU! Of course, they should have the required qualifications and experience, but I believe that the deciding factor should be whether you believe you can trust and work with the therapist, and vice versa. Having a strong therapeutic relationship is crucial, as it forms the solid foundation on which to build positive progress and ensure longer term success.
I was attracted to Hypnotherapy as a career because I felt its simple, goal-focused approach perfectly complemented my existing professional skills, knowledge and interests. Before becoming a Hypnotherapist, I’d had a long and successful career as a TV Executive Producer, with decades of experience in helping people overcome a wide range of challenges by using time-efficient, creative problem-solving techniques.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a well-proven and effective technique, which works quickly to deliver positive results. Hypnotherapy is a relaxing, safe, and simple way of harnessing your brain’s natural power to activate positive change and allowing the best version of ‘You’ to flourish! Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) combines both these therapeutic approaches and is proven to be particularly effective at tackling a range of issues such as overcoming anxieties, lack of self-confidence, sleep disorders, managing stress, pain relief and conquering unwanted habits and phobias.
I enjoy actively listening to peoples' individual stories and then using these insights to coach and help clients relax, tackle their issues, improve their self-confidence, and then appreciate the positive impact that this new way of thinking/feeling/behaving has on every aspect of their lives. So, worries and self-doubts are replaced by a more engaging, authentic presence and a powerful inner confidence which enables clients to achieve their goals and to forge stronger and more joyful connections. In return, it's very rewarding for me to see people flourish throughout the process and start to live the life they want and deserve.

Qualifications, Training & Experience
The therapy I provide will be bespoke and designed to address your specific needs. We will work together to identify your individual goals and then use a variety of clinically proven, effective methods, which offer you the best chance of success. Techniques I use include hypnosis, CBT, relaxation, mindfulness, assertiveness training and problem solving.
I qualified with a Level 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (Dip CBH) from the UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy. UKCHH is the premier Hypnotherapy college in the UK, with a global reputation. I am a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register and I abide by their Code of Ethics and I am also registered on the Hypnotherapy Directory.
I am also an Associate Lecturer at the University of Salford and I have an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
In my previous TV career, I was a mentor and coach for 100’s of people (both off and on screen) and I am very adept at finding and then nurturing the values and unique skills we each have to offer, but which are often well hidden or deliberately overlooked.

Initial 30 minute phone/Zoom call - Free
In person/Online (Zoom) appointment (55 minutes): £80.00*
Hypnosis Experience (55 minutes): £65*: A one-off session to experience what hypnosis feels like. Focuses on either relaxation, motivation or empowerment. In person or online

Sessions are by appointment only
CBH is an effective and goal-focussed approach and usually sees results more quickly than other types of therapy. Clients sometimes report that they feel better after only a couple of sessions, but typically the best results are achieved with 4 - 6 sessions. If the issue is particularly complex, then more sessions might be needed.
I offer online (Zoom) and in person appointments.
Online sessions have been shown to be equally effective as in person appointments. Where you attend your sessions is down to your personal preference and appointment availability.
I offer daytime, some evenings and Saturday morning appointments – all subject to availability.
